Bream on Plastics

A 2.5 inch grub is a great plastic for targeting bream. They suite a #2 1/6oz (1.5g) Allrounder or a #2 3/32oz (2.7g) Worm Nose jighead depending on water conditions. You want to go as light as you can so that the plastic falls naturally. Let the plastic hit the bottom then slow lifts about 30 cm working the plastic all the way back.

Braid is essential for this style of fishing to feel everything happening to your lure. If you feel any sort of knock on the line, STRIKE. Sometimes the bream will just smash the plastic other times they will bite very tentatively.

Tight lines.
